About the Role

Sofstica is searching for a passionate and experienced Software Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role,you will be responsible for leading and managing the full lifecycle of software development projects, from ideation to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Manage multiple projects each with a dedicated Business Analyst.
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Track project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate team meetings and ensure clear communication across all levels.
• Monitor project deliverables and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Implement and maintain project management tools and processes.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in software project management.
• Proven experience in leading and delivering software development projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.

Bonus Points:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
